Adrien Casalis - Six pieds sur terre (Bande originale du film) (2024) [Hi-Res]

Adrien Casalis signs the music for Karim Bensalah's chronicle, which relates the initiatory journey of Sofiane, son of a former Algerian diplomat established in Lyon for his studies and threatened with expulsion. Accepting to work for a Muslim funeral home in the hope of regularizing his situation, he is led to build his own identity and gradually evolve towards adulthood. The score does not illustrate the origin of the character with Arabic music, but testifies to the multiplicity of his identity with strings to convey emotion and soft, enveloping music during the moments spent at the funeral home. The borrowings integrate rock, pop, electro, Arabic, classical and conclude with the crystal clear voice of Brazilian singer Zeca Veloso. In one scene, the character plays the piano and sings the Radiohead song "Creep" for a young girl, and later attends a concert where an impromptu Franz Schubert performance is performed.
