Beth and April Stevens' Sisters is an excellent slice of updated Appalachian bluegrass, which injects a bit of blues into the old timey mountain sounds. Though the sisters' original efforts are somewhat uneven, their performances are consistently convincing, making Sisters a joyous listen.
