In particular, the "with organ" that reproduces the ultra-low range was also useful as a sound source for audio checks. This time, by reprinting in high quality, the high-quality sound recording at the time was fully utilized, and the sound was reproduced straight. Of course, the essence of French recording by Anserme can also be felt in detail, and it is a masterpiece that the sound field spreads in front of you, especially on the SA-CD layer, beyond half a century. I hope that the evaluation of this board will further increase due to its vividness and weighty reproduction. For this release, we brought the original analog master tapes from our home country to CLASSIC SOUND in the UK and directly converted them to DSD, so the SA-CD layer reproduces a sound that is extremely close to the master tapes. The CD layer is also the latest mastering in 2017. In addition, the front jacket of this time contains the original jacket design of British DECCA, "With Organ" and "Frank" on the back of the booklet.
These recordings by Ansermet have not faded and continue to reign as representative performances even in the present day when various excellent performances have appeared since then. One of the reasons for this is the high quality of recording by DECCA, but the tones of primary colors at the time and the command of Anserme, who has a good outlook and is good at listening, also play a large role. And with the addition of the powerful organ, it was this board that left a strong impression with the intertwining of multiple elements in the recording. Together with Frank, who plays a beautiful melody that is heavy but flowing, it is a sound source suitable for making an SA-CD as a masterpiece.
