Calcutta Kid - Anjali (2024) [Hi-Res]

Anjali is the name I gave my sitar when we first met in Connaught Place, New Delhi. I was able to try many sitars but felt a connection to this particular instrument. We’ve spent a lot of time together. The word Anjali means, “divine offering”. This music was created and recorded by myself at home in San Diego. The Raga Brinda Vani Sarang is traditionally played during the summer season. These tunes were created at night and intended for summer time listening. This is my humble offering.
