‘Vocis Imago’ is the 5th album in the “Wohlhauser Edition” series which NEOS began in 2013. The new album features performances of the composer’s solo and chamber works by Ensemble Polysono, Duo Simolka- Wohlhauser and the Mullenbach Trio.

Ren Wohlhauser (composer, baritone, pianist, conductor) was born in 1954 and grew up in Brienz (Switzerland). His prolific output stretches over many genres and in recent years Wohlhauser has repeatedly undertaken tours in Europe as a pianist, singer and conductor with the Duo Simolka - Wohlhauser and his own Ensemble Polysono, who specialise in the interpretation of current contemporary music.
