The Ar Men 1 CD is the first episode of a trilogy conceived only for acoustic instruments, recorded by a sound engineer especially attentive to these sounds, such as Stefano Amerio (who has already collaborated with Manfred Eicher and various artists of the ECM team) in his studio. Kavalikko (Udine) and published in 2007 on the Artesuono label. The work, presented in the context of important jazz and contemporary festivals, was an excellent success with critics and the public.
An album of a trio of guitars, bass and drums; a work that combines with the genre [...] and with music in general, especially if you look for good technique (excellent, to be honest), original ideas, good interaction and interesting compositions when listening [...] All this thanks to musicians with clear intentions and undoubtedly an open interest in various horizons. Jamo is able to give his guitar strings really clean settings, colors and sounds that are very pleasant to listen to [...] perfectly interacting with bandmates in all compositions, among which it is difficult to choose an exemplary one [ ... We marvel at the simple beauty of the sounds, remembering John Fahey or Bill Frizell, Jim Hall or Robert Fripp, but always recognizing the absolute originality in the interpreter and the trio capable of leaving its mark.
