Elvis Presley - Saga All Stars: The Birth of the King / Selected Singles 1954-56 (2007)

Saga's budget-line comp Birth of the King 1954-1956 is a 16-track collection of Elvis' earliest songs, concentrating on the Sun sessions -- the first ten tracks are all Sun -- and then expanding to the biggest earliest RCA singles, "Heartbreak Hotel," "I Want You, I Need You, I Love You," "Hound Dog," and "Don't Be Cruel." Although this stuff is available in more generous compilations, all of this is terrific so it's a good choice if it's found at a bargain price.
