"When the Moon's Behind the Clouds" is one of my fav Paul Clark albums. The tile song has a strong British Beat. "Where Did I Fall Down" is a life assessment. Some of the songs have a Beatlesque influence musically, like "I Will Follow You". The lyrics are brilliant and authentic. The album takes you on a journey remembering, the good and the bad and the way things were. Then stirs in you a desire to return, return to your first love.~David Cook

The lyrics of these songs are replete with honesty and poetry. Paul has shared the struggles of his soul in these songs. The music is interesting, well-crafted and sometimes unpredictable. Sometimes it is uplifting, sometimes reflective, but always rendered with artistry. I listened to Paul Clark in his early days and his trademark sound is still there, but there is diversity as well. Influences ranging from Beatlesque to native American are present. The genre would likely be considered pop, but it is not in any way shallow or boring. I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates honesty in artistry, to anyone who has been wounded in the journey of life. It is inspiring and healing.~Rita Cooper
