Romane, Richard Manetti & Pierre Manetti - Romane Manetti Guitar Family - The Romane Classical Pieces (2024)

Internationally, Romane’s unique melodic sense has given him a reputation as not only a “must-hear” guitarist but also a master in the art of setting a piece to music. With his “Classical Pieces” album he presents his first recording entirely arranged for a string quartet, where he creates a universe that mingles swing and classical music in a crossover that also takes in jazz and film music. The result is a musical language that is infinitely rich, and filled with a poetic serenity. Accompanying him in this adventure are his sons Richard and Pierre Manetti (the Romane family is an all-stars group of its own), and their two comrades Laurent Zeller and Laurent Delaveau. This, without a doubt, is Romane’s most personal recording.
