Indie/post-emo favourites Foxing go big on their eponymous fifth album. Fresh from celebrating the tenth anniversary of cult classic debut The Albatross with a tour and a recording a new version of 'Rory' with Prince Daddy & The Hyena, the Missouri outfit sound revitalised and refreshed, turning in their most adventurous works yet. Spearheaded by the eight-minute whopper of a single 'Greyhound', the track hints at an art rock-leaning direction, loaded with shoegaze, post-rock, noise rock, and psychedelia influences. We also hear touches on lo-fi indie, dramatic post-hardcore, and 90s alt rock in respective tracks.
