Genevieve Charbonneau - Updraft (2014)

Recorded in January 2014, and released in July, this is Genevieve Charbonneau's first solo album. A collection of beautiful original songs, Updraft is inspired by a decade of homesteading in the Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island.

Genevieve's voice is "at once reedy, full, playful, caressing and honest, simple and complex and tells a story that is draws one in. It is impossible when listening to this album to not be moved in some way across a broad spectrum of emotions.
