Robert Ratonyi - Mellifluous (2021)

Mellifluous 2021 Rátonyi's long-awaited solo album fills a gap in the Hungarian jazz style palette. The songs are sophisticated, very reassuring, mostly balladistic and have some faster-paced own compositions, dominated by Rátonyi's acoustic piano playing. jazz, R&B and popular jazz, with an emphasis on pleasant funky rhythms in some places. Predictable radio-friendly smooth jazz music. Very exciting, yet extremely easy to listen to.
