Lacrea Clark (born and raised in Austin, Texas) is an original singer and songwriter who performs under the stage name Lacrea.
At the beginning of her musical career (Lacrea began performing at the early age of 13), covering performances in New York at the Apollo, MGM Grands in Las Vegas and hitting the headlines at KVUE Austin for her SXSW event (to name just a few). Her album "Southern Girl" debuted garnering just over a million listens for a pair of singles, including the most popular record "So Tired".
While planning several states for her album tour, she had the pleasure of opening for several respected artists in the industry such as Trey Songz, Bow Wow, Ashley Simpson, Ray J and finally at showcase events for Universal & Def Jam Records.
Although Lacrea writes music for herself, she has spent time writing and composing for other artists, including YT Amaya from Free Odyssey. In addition to her talents in music, Lacrea has also had the opportunity to showcase other sides of her work in some films, including Vanessa Hudgens' Band Slam, the Friday Night Lights series, and hopes to continue to develop this part of her career further, as she continues to focus solely on her musical abilities at the moment.
