Jacob Acosta - Saint Corazon (2024) [Hi-Res]

Jacob Acosta is an international recording & performing artist based in Tucson, Arizona with a music degree in classical guitar and education. He has worked with the legendary indie-producer John Vanderslice, been featured on National Public Radio, was a jingle writer for FOX, FORD, ESPN, and Codeschool, has played dozens of festivals and tours across the U.S., and has released sixteen records in the genres of blues rock, indie-shoegaze, pop, deep house, progressive house, organic house, americana and folk since 2008 by his own namesake along with the groups Mason, Burning West, HYTS, Roll Acosta, and Race You There. He has collaborated and released music with both Where The Heart Is Records and MIR Records, along with David Hohme, Sasheen, Jody Wisternoff, Max and Nim, Dustin Nantais, and Desert Raven. His popular local release is ‘Desert Sounds’, about Arizonan culture & the Southwest. His next release is Saint Corazón this 2024.

This album will feature 9 lush songs such as the locally loved pieces “Saint Corazón”, “Honest Everyday”, “Maria”, and “Too Many Words”. It will also feature the ballads “Laredo” and “San Pedro”, one an ode to the river/riparian area originating south of the border, and the other a love story of the American dream. You’ll also discover the instrumentally cinematic and fiery songs “Twenty First Century”, “Person of Interest”, and “Night Rider” which feature a western soundscape/backdrop, a live performed bull whip by Bob Hoag, some of Courtney’s renowned fiddle lead, and the collective psychedelic sounds of the trio with Barry Young on Bass, and the addition of Andre Gressieux on percussion.
