The GRACE series is an adaptation of the Peter James novels and is a success, with over 21 million copies sold. For the series, composer Matthew Slater created music based on the sounds of solo and quartet cellos, creating a unique soundtrack for each story. The composer expressed his admiration for the performance of cellist Caroline Dale and noted that her playing emphasises the tragedy and new love of the character of Grays. Following the announcement of the fifth series, Matthew Slater has already started work on new episodes. Grace is produced by several companies and is available to watch on ITV X in the UK and on the BritBox platform in the US and Canada.
