This album is a continuation of Melinda Mullins' musical legacy mission to share songs written by her father, Johnny Mullins, the Ozarks' Grammy-nominated songwriting elementary school janitor, who penned hits for artists such as Loretta Lynn, Porter Wagoner and Emmylou Harris. Volume Two features the Layton Hollow Gals trio with Emily Higgins and Betsey Mae joining Melinda.
