For many of us, the late 1950s to early 60s was the golden age of the single. We heard great records on the radio and rushed out to our local shop to buy it, pocket money or wages clutched in our sweaty little hands. What a wonderful feeling it was if we found that the B-side was also great.

Presented here is a small selection of hits that had great flipsides together with some 45s that should have made the charts.

Includes Guy Mitchell's 'Crazy with Love', The Kalin Twins 'Three O'Clock Thrill', The Moonglows excellent 45 'I knew From the Start/Over and Over Again' which was the only single the group released in the UK.
