Jimmy Cornett & The Deadmen - One Of A Kind (2024)

Growing up in the nowhere of the Weserbergland in the 1980s, Jimmy was quick to be influenced by legends such as Richie Havens, John Lee Hooker, Dion, Chuck Berry, Elvis and Johnny Cash.

Real momentum in his artistic career came in the early 1990s when he moved to Hamburg.
As a member of various formations, but above all as a solo musician, he quickly became known far beyond the city limits. In 2007 he released his solo debut Rhythm Of Hells - Songs Of Angels History, in which Cornett tells the history of the Hells Angels together with music legends such as Janis Joplin, Rolling Stones, Jerry Garcia, Johnny Cash or Hank Williams set to music. In 2010 he shot a video for the title track in the Pyrenees in preparation for Deadmen's debut album Raise The Dust, and the following year he released his solo EP California Session, which also featured actress Julia Roberts' nephew.
Another prime example of the international orientation of his music.
