Completely committed to its own “Janoska Style” and to their credo of improvisation, the ensemble chose this monumental and timelessly beautiful work for their album since it, like so much Baroque music, lends itself perfectly to virtuoso realization. In addition, by due of the concerto’s 4-season template, each of the four virtuoso musicians was able to compose his “own” single-movement season, thus linking the chosen season to his own instrument.
