«Field studies on a retired church organ deep in the Croatian mountains.

For seven days, a silent forest surrounded the Inner Sanctum. It pressed in with an invisible force. The forest stayed back, held by the powerful sound of a motorized pipe organ. At night, bonfires burned as warnings to unseen wooden beings stalking nearby.

For seven days, I had almost no contact with people. I stayed silent. This quiet allowed a strange, heavy atmosphere to settle. It crept into the heart and mind.

The tunes were hidden in the organ’s dusty corners. They woke like spirits from a long sleep.

The Organs Of Matter Wheel is a unique collection of odd compositions. It documents the sound of this mountain organ. Nothing more, nothing less. The music was mixed to match how I heard it while playing.»
