Devel Sullivan - Tales of Old: Echoes of Heritage (2024) [Hi-Res]

Devel Sullivan is multi-instrumentalist and game music composer combining orchestra with other genres and elements. The best known for his project Tales of Old where he combines cinematic epic music and live folk instruments from all around the world.



Fjörgyn in Nordic mythology was a personification of earth and a mother of Thor. This ambient folk track with a darker tone is a harbinger of the new style I'm currently experimenting with. I've always enjoyed writing melancholic stuff and slowly turning my folk music style towards the darker emotions was inevitable.
