Sam Nóbrega, a Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Recife, now based in Lisbon, draws inspiration from Brazilian folk traditions and genres like samba funk, forró, Manguebeat, and Bossa Nova. Since debuting in 2017 with original performances, he gained attention with his 2019 single "A Vida Vai e Volta," followed by independent releases like "Ruas Desertas." His first album, Ponta de Dois Lados, blending traditional and contemporary Brazilian sounds, is set to release on November 22 via Freestyle Records, influenced by icons like João Donato, Gilberto Gil, and movements like Tropicalismo.
