Tipula - Greening (2024) [Hi-Res]

Tipula’s Raw Tapes debut, Greening, took shape as Eldar Brantman and Dana Dunietz began playfully fusing trip-hop, vocal jazz and classic funk in Eldar’s home studio. With no deadline in sight, slowly Greening emerged. “Creation is necessary for me; like breathing,” says Dunietz. Necessary, but not a burden. These eight tracks sound like two friends enjoying each other, trading melodies between keys and vocals, lightly bouncing over the bassline. It’s an open hang. The door’s open; come on in.
