Luke’s 7th release and first full album since 2019, BLOOM is a collection of 12 original songs written over the last 5 years.
Each song creates its own moment and take the listener on a journey, telling personal tales experienced throughout his 20’s, from becoming an uncle, getting engaged, touring The States with his father, losing a dear friend and turning 30.
It is a very personal album but Luke still finds moments to tell other peoples stories which have inspired him, like in the poignant ‘Rainbow Valley’ telling the tale of a father who lost his son to Mount Everest and wishes to ‘bring his boy back home’.

BLOOM was recorded and produced by Elliott Norris from Good Neighbour Records, Elliott is also Luke’s touring partner and plays drums in Luke’s trio and throughout this album.
Over the course of 2022 & 2023 you would likely find Luke & Elliott at the bottom of Elliotts garden locked away working on this album till the early hours of the morning!

The album features harmonies from Grammy Award Winning songwriter, Amy Wadge on ‘Rubber & Magic’ and the beautiful voice of Edwina Hayes on arguably Luke’s most honest and raw song yet, ‘Beside You’ as well as roaring bass lines from Sam Mummery & Andy Sharps!

Since Luke’s last album ‘Journals’ released in 2019, like most musicians, Luke has been through a challenging 5 years and many moments of uncertainty, but even in the moments where Luke has felt like packing it all in was the only option, he always opted to double down and refuse to accept that as his reality.
From feeling like his place in music was withering away throughout 2020 - 2022, to getting back in the studio and back out on the road throughout 2023 & 2024, it felt like things were starting to bloom again, hence the album title!
