Cindy Horstman's proven she's an accomplished harpist, and on Christmas Harp she shows how lovely the 16 well-chosen standards can sound solely on the harp. The Dallas, Texas, harpist opens with 'Silent Night' and closes 15 tracks later with 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas.' In between she plays such traditional pieces as 'Coventry Carol,' 'What Child Is This?' and 'Jingle Bells' alongside classical pieces by Handel ('Joy to the World') and Bach ('Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring'). Impeccably recorded by Engineer/Producer, Michael Medina, this recording proves that if there's anything more timeless at Christmas than mistletoe and candles all aglow, it's angel harp music. This is a great album to own if you just like to turn down the lights and listen to great holiday music. This is probably the best instrumental holiday album I have heard. Take a listen to the songs you can hear online and judge for yourself. This is a flawless performance by a great musician. Hope everybody enjoys!
