Musically, the young musicians create impressive sonic landscapes that contrast with the fragmented media understanding of their generation. Their concerts offer a unique musical experience for all music enthusiasts – they are an invitation to listen deeply, pause, and reflect.

slowklang stands for a generation that consciously turns away from speed and superficiality, advocating instead for music that allows room and time to breathe. A collaborative trio that collectively explores new paths while leading the deep roots of jazz into fertile new ground.

The Viennese trio pushes the boundaries of traditional song forms and plays with spherical, contemporary improvisation. Unconventional, sometimes calm, sometimes tension-filled, from delicate, fragile moments to powerful, groovy passages – in the unusual lineup of vocals/saxophone/electric bass + foot organ slowklang presents a band sound that is equally refreshing and captivating.

Responsible for this characteristic sound are the band members: Robin Gadermaier with his one-of-a-kind bass playing (electric bass + foot organ!) and Robert Unterköfler with uncompromising saxophone lines shape the musical structure over which Amina Bouroyen's precise and heartfelt vocals effortlessly soar.
