A really great setting for this legendary 70s combo -- a record that has the core Stone Alliance trio coming into play with a host of Argentine musicians who really open up their sound! The core energy is still super-sharp -- that magical combination of the saxes of Steve Grossman, bass of Gene Perla, and drums of Don Alias -- but the sound takes on whole new dimensions with added keyboards, percussion, and bandoneon -- used in different ways throughout to create warmer, lyrical elements.
