Salami Rose Joe Louis (Lindsay Olsen), a Brainfeeder singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, has surprise-released a new EP titled Salami Live at 2131 North Kacey Street. The EP features reimagined versions of songs from her catalog, including tracks from her 2023 album Akousmatikous, performed with the help of a stellar trio: Flanafi (guitar), Tone Whitfield (bass), and Nazir Ebo (drums). Recorded live in February, the EP showcases a dynamic blend of Olsen’s delicate vocals with eerie and experimental instrumentation. Olsen describes the project as a celebration of collaboration, sonic exploration, and the chemistry shared with her touring band, highlighting their energy and mutual admiration.
