Cinedelic is releasing a limited edition vinyl combining three volumes dedicated to Italian composers Piero Umiliani, Armando Trovajoli, and Ennio Morricone. The project began after the 2014 HalloBigallo Festival, where Enrico Gabrielli and members of Junkfood were invited to reinterpret Umiliani's music. Although Enrico couldn't perform due to personal issues, the group recorded three tracks live in 2015 at Vacuum Studio in Bologna, capturing a unique take on Umiliani's music. This became the first release in the Italian Masters series, which was well-received by both film music fans and the alternative music scene. The success of this initiative led to further recordings dedicated to Trovajoli and Morricone, with the series attracting the attention of Cinedelic Records, known for its vinyl editions of Italian soundtracks.
