Porangui - Antigua Kora Remixes (Remix) (2024) [Hi-Res]

Poranguí’s Antigua: Kora Remixes is a captivating reinterpretation of the original Antigua album, infused with the electronic artistry of Québec producer Kora. Originally performed live by Poranguí in a soulful, improvised session at Sugarshack in Florida post-Hurricane Ian, the tracks are now reimagined with atmospheric beats and rhythms.

The collaboration began in 2022 when Kora was deeply moved by Poranguí & Liquid Bloom’s Feathered Serpent. This connection led to Kora remixing Inner Sanctum, which was celebrated during a serendipitous performance in Montréal. The shared vision culminated in a fresh take on Antigua, where each track reflects one of the four elements, now enriched with electronic textures.

Set for release this summer on Sol Creation Records, this project bridges musical worlds, celebrating transformation and connection while honoring the original album's essence.
