Mich Gerber - Shoreline (2018) Hi-Res

Only equipped with bass and live sampling looping system Me Gerber creates whole sound worlds. He uses the full range of sounds that this instrument has to offer and is slowly working his way up from groovy baselines to deleted melodies to multi-layered harmonies. Inspired by string instruments from all over the world, he gives his music an oriental sound and brings out both typical dark sounds and rough overtones from the bass. On the release tour of the new album "Shoreline" (2018) Mich Gerber is in duo with percussionist Andi Pupato. Here, the double bass is put into the well-deserved spotlight.
