Margaux Vranken - Constellations (2024) [Hi-Res]

Carried on the piano by Margaux Vranken, and on vocals by the talented American singer Farayi Malek, nominated for a Grammy Award in 2023, this elegant and harmonious mixed-media duo is the result of a long musical friendship that began in 2018 at Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA). “Constellations” is a luminous, jazz-sounding album that blends melodies, American roots and acoustic atmospheres.

Margaux Vranken (born in Brussels, Belgium) is a pianist and composer. After graduating in jazz piano from the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles in 2015, Margaux flew to the USA (Boston) to do a Master's at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute with legendary musicians such as Danilo Pérez, Joe Lovano, Terri Lyne Carrington, Dave Liebman and many others. She recorded her “Purpose” album at Bunker Studio (Brooklyn, NY) in the immediate aftermath. Purpose” will be released on Igloo Records in 2020. Margaux also releases “Purpose la Suite: live at Gaume Jazz Festival” (2021) and “Songbook” (2022) on the same label. “Constellations” (2024) is a self-production and has been available on all platforms since December.
