MY JOURNEY THROUGH THE ARAB WORLD HAS BEEN ROOTED IN THE WEST (AL GHARB) OF THE MEDITERRANEAN.

From this side of the Mare Nostrum, the Arab world is viewed from a unique perspective. What manifests as the past becomes relevant again in the way we rediscover traditional music. I am the Westerner (Al Gharbí) who travels through the Arab world from Valencia, observes it, cherishes it, and values this Arab heritage that forms part of our culture. Here, we navigate the Mediterranean, from the west (Al Gharb) to the east (A-Xarq) and back, an age-old journey.

Technical Details:

Andrés Belmonte: Nay, duduk, flute, bass flute, and vocals.
