Ittetsu Nasuda - Tailwind (2024)

Pianist and composer Ittetsu Nasuda forms a formidable team of Dan Neville/vib, Gabriel Vivas/b, Takafumi Nidaido/perc and Juan Chavassa/dr for a collection of his originals. Nasuda shows his lyricism on a solo “Sparkling Reflections” that is brimming over with ideas. The full timeam get intense as they gallop through “Figatebird” and bop on the fun “La Madrugada” with some traditional fol forms on “Rinne Tensei” and the rural ”Arroz Con Mi Son” as Neville’s vibes sparkle throughout.
