Florence Davis, Paris Jazz Big Band - French Songs (2008)

From musicals (to the creation of Starmania, Les Misérables, etc.) to concerts, without forgetting cinema (A Room in the City by Jacques Demy and Voix by Dominique Sanda) and theater (Fragments directed by Jack Garfein), Florence Davis has been leading a career as a backing vocalist for several years alongside established artists (Sylvie Vartan, Catherine Lara.) from the French and international scene. Also having Dizzy Gillespie as her godfather, it was natural that for her first album as a leader, Florence Davis would perform French songs accompanied by one of the most beautiful jazz orchestras today, the Paris Jazz Big Band.
