The new album from the internationally renowned griot and kora master, Ablaye Cissoko! Nearly three years after their first opus and around a hundred concerts worldwide, Ablaye Cissoko reunites with the talented Cyrille Brotto for another masterful collaboration between kora, vocals, and accordion. Titled *Djiyo* (which means "water"), this album mirrors a river that unites the lands it flows through, harmoniously blending Manding and Occitan traditions. In this intimate and spiritual musical journey, the two virtuosos reinvent their relationship with their instruments, offering an enlightened conversation tinged with melancholy, a poetic and intense dialogue, and a magnificent lesson in music and humanism.
