The Karl Shiflett & Big Country Show is an all acoustic, traditional country music show, dedicated to the preservation and performance of the original American musical art form known as Bluegrass Music. Since their origin in 1993, the group have established themselves as one of the premier show bands of this exhilarating brand of music. Through their unique, nostalgic approach (the utilization of the traditional one-microphone stage technique) they have created their own particular niche on the circuit. One fan said, Watching their show, you feel as if youve walked into a time capsule and been transported back to the early days of bluegrass music.
