This is the fifth genre album by the German duo Mondo Sangue, inspired by the soundtracks of Italian giallo films from the 1960s and 70s. The album picks up where Rosso Come La Notte (2021) left off, blending the atmosphere of cinematic horror with nostalgic Italian pop.
The storyline follows Barbara, a woman with no memory, wandering the picturesque streets of Hamburg. A shady hypnosis session and an unsuspecting lover reveal the dark secrets hidden behind her innocent beauty. The album features six tracks, including collaborations with artists such as Bela B, Dirk von Lowtzow, and Rocko Schamoni.
