(Born 12 November 1946 in Allentown, PA - Died 26 February 2005) was a singer songwriter and guitarist.
Cheryl Dilcher recorded four albums between 1970 and 1977. Her first album Special Songs was released on Ampex in 1970 and featured Bette Midler on backing vocals. Although her second two albums – Butterfly in 1973 and Magic, the following year – were released on A&M, neither sold and her contract was not renewed. She fared no better with her third album, Blue Sailor, released on her own Butterfly label in 1977. Her styles progressed from initially acoustic singer songwriter, to rock, pop and deviating to funk.
