Originating from Orlando, Florida, Coyote Theory consists of lead vocalist and pianist Colby Carpinelli, drummer Jayson Lynn, and bassist/guitarist Grayson Hendren. They debuted with the Color EP in 2011 but took a hiatus after three years. In 2019, they reunited, and their song "This Side of Paradise" gained viral attention on TikTok, amassing over 600 million streams globally. ​
