Bab El West - Amane (2025)

After two albums and a decade on the road, La Porte de l’Ouest returns with a third opus, a manifesto in musical form.

Through eight fables, the band blends the essence of rock ’n’ roll with the trance-like rhythms and sounds of the Maghreb, which have been at the core of their identity from the very beginning.

These eight fables give voice to invisible heroes, a peaceful revenge of the humble, the elements, and the animal kingdom against the absurd frenzy of an increasingly fragmented humanity.

Eight stories advocating a return to the roots and cultural fusion. The organic, live sound journeys from London to Ouarzazate, from Mohamed Rouicha to Led Zeppelin. Folk ballads, desert rock, and disco raï embrace without ever clashing.
