Laura Illeborg, Frans Bak - Falder Du (2025) [Hi-Res]

Falder Du is the final musical project by Danish singer-songwriter Laura Illeborg, created in close collaboration with composer and pianist Frans Bak. The album, consisting of eight songs written by Illeborg and composed by Bak, was nearly completed before Illeborg's sudden passing in October 2024. It stands as a testament to her artistic integrity and depth.

Known for her poetic lyrics and Nordic-influenced folk-pop, Illeborg remained true to her unique style throughout her career. Falder Du continues this tradition, offering intimate and melancholic beauty through reflective songwriting.

The album features esteemed Danish musicians, including Jan Rørdam (guitar), Marie Louise von Bülow (bass), and Oliver Zahle (drums), alongside guest artists such as Kasper Tranberg (trumpet), Mathilde Bondo (violin), and Knud Møller (guitar). The synergy between Illeborg’s vocals and Bak’s arrangements creates a delicate balance of fragility and strength.

Frans Bak, an accomplished composer known for his work on Forbrydelsen and Oscar-nominated films, brings his vast experience to the album's sound.
