El León Pardo's new album, *Viaje Sideral*, released by AYA Records, explores a cosmic journey blending traditional Caribbean sounds and modern electronic influences. Centered around the ancestral Colombian flute known as the kuisi, the album merges folklore and psychedelic tropical music with ambient and electronic experimentation, inspired by pioneers like Terry Riley, Kraftwerk, and Mad Professor. Through nine tracks featuring Caribbean percussion, analog synths, deep bass, electric guitars, trumpets, and ancient flutes, Pardo bridges earthly traditions with cosmic themes, evoking humanity's timeless fascination with the stars. Collaborations include producer Diego Gómez, Edson Velandia, and rapper N. Hardem, further enhancing this astral yet deeply rooted musical exploration.
