Oakland-based artist Samplelov (Rochelle “Roshi” Lopez, they/them) presents The Look of Adoration, a beautifully crafted album blending dubbed-out samples, soulful vocals, and poetic reflections on storytelling, light, and perception.

The 12-track release is both sonically and thematically cohesive, evoking intimate spaces like Tokyo cafes or Parisian wine bars, where its vintage crackle, smooth harmonies, and hypnotic beats would feel right at home.
