Lagon Nwar is a musical ensemble uniting four distinctive artists: vocalist Ann O'Aro, drummer and vocalist Marcel Balboné, bassist Valentin Ceccaldi, and tenor saxophonist and synthesist Quentin Biardeau. Their debut album comprises nine tracks that weave a world both powerful and tender, luminous yet shaded, gentle yet fierce. Their inimitable and captivating music resides somewhere between Creole tradition, Afro-jazz, and European pop, all delivered with fervent poetry that narrates a grand tale, as described by Xavier Machault.
