After three EPs in the Auf Monte in L.E. series, Bauarbeiter der Liebe drop a full album. Auf Monte means working away from home - here, in L.E. (Leipzig an der Elbe). The process is simple: The band meets in Lutz Hartmanns Leipzig studio on Saturday, writes, records, and produces all day, then revisits and finalizes the tracks on Sunday. This time, they repeated the cycle twice, creating nine tracks - many of them unexpected cover versions. Listening back to Toxic or Kling Klang, the lyrics take on new, surprising meanings. Its fascinating how context and time reshape words.
