Continuing their meticulous restoration of the musical treasures within Gianfranco Reverberi's archives, Four Flies are proud to present the first ever digital version of Missione Apollo, one of the maestro’s most obscure and atmospheric library albums, conceived in 1973 as the abstract, ethereal and, at times, openly experimental soundtrack to an imaginative lunar voyage.

The album is distinguished by its visionary and melancholic ambiance, strikingly evident in tracks like "Viaggio tra le stelle" and "Aria liquida," where electronic sounds conjure cosmic, mysterious, and unsettling soundscapes. In compositions like "Ligheti," the addition of wordless vocal harmonies deepens the sense of darkness and gloom, while "Il Viaggio" stands out as one of the album's most experimental moments—a dissonant piece where drums and percussion intertwine with synths, organs, and bass, fusing a robust rhythmic foundation with profoundly psychedelic textures.
