HXH - STARK PHENOMENA (2025) [Hi-Res]

Trumpeter Chris Ryan Williams and cellist Lester St. Louis, performing as HxH (H by H), release their debut album STARK PHENOMENA on KMRU’s label OFNOT. Blending acoustic instruments with electronics in real time, their work explores electroacoustic soundscapes influenced by jazz, classical, improvisation, noise, and electronic music. Known for their unpredictable live performances and genre-defying creativity, HxH create music that is both deeply experimental and emotionally resonant. Their debut marks not only their first studio recording but also a powerful statement of identity and innovation in a field that has historically overlooked Black musicians.
