Blending Romani, Romanian, Bulgarian, and Bosnian folk elements with modern Balkan pop energy, the album recreates the spirit of a traditional kafana—a Balkan tavern filled with music, emotion, and storytelling. The band’s unique lineup features horns, strings, percussion, and vocals, creating an immersive sound that has captivated audiences at festivals like Boomtown and Wilderness, and in sold-out venues such as London’s Jamboree.

shunTA! is led by Sarah Montague (vocals, violin), alongside a diverse and international ensemble of talented musicians.
