Philly prog-funk fusion trio Muscle Tough have been performing shows to celebrate their 10th year making music as a band and have released their latest album, Too Busy 4 Jail. From downright chaotic to delicate & tender, the band's third LP spans the spectrum of emotions and style. One quickly learns that nothing stands in the way of Ross Bellenoit, Joe Baldacci, and Jonathan Colman, pushing boundaries and displaying the compositional prowess & experience under their belts that only tight-knit bands display. Harkening back to their 2016 EP title track, Greasin' Up The Mediocrity Wheel, MT delivers a progressive approach with complex arrangements, while executing engaging and developing music in the 8-track offering.

It's worth noting that Muscle Tough's three individual members have become quite prolific in the Philadelphia music scene in the last decade. Each member of the trio has either sat-in with, produced with, or simply collaborated shows with a myriad of local musicians in and around our great city, including Jonathan Colman's monthly Dungeon Crawl series at Silk City and the Funk N Bowl series held at North Bowl since 2018. Over the past 10 years the band has played at Philly venues like TIME, Milkboy, Connies Ric Rac, Silk City, Bourbon & Branch, Heritage, Ortlieb's, North Bowl, Fillmore Philly, Brooklyn Bowl Philly, Johnny Brenda's, Ardmore Music Hall, and as well as performing at several regional and local festivals through the years, like Peach Fest, Beardfest, Karinval of the Arts, and Jam on the Grass...a band simply Too Busy 4 Jail.
